ABOUT THE PROJECT

How is this different from other co-authored book projects I’ve heard about?

Most book projects end at publication. This one starts there. The strategy session, lead magnet development, collaboration matchmaking, and expert series are all designed to make sure the book actually does something for your business, not just your bio.

How much time does this take?

Plan for the one-on-one strategy session, two author writing support calls, time to draft and revise your chapter, four milestone group calls, and participation in the launch promotion. Spread across six months, it’s meaningful but manageable, and every hour you put in builds an asset you’ll use for years.

Can I do this if my audience is outside the US?

Yes. The project is fully virtual. Time zone differences are workable and we’ll be thoughtful about scheduling. The only consideration is whether a significant time difference would affect your ability to show up consistently for the group calls.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. If you prefer a payment plan, you can make 3 installments of $900 each. Of course if you have extenuating circumstances, reach out to Melissa to talk through what works for your timing.

Do I need to be a professional writer to contribute?

Not at all. Whatever level writer you are, you’ll receive clear prompts, writing support, and expert editing to make sure your chapter shines, without stress. This is about sharing your voice, not being perfect on the page.

What if I don’t know what to write about?

You’ll get guidance to help clarify your message and connect it to your business and legacy. We’ll help you uncover the story only you can tell, the one that draws clients, partners, and media your way.

What happens if I can’t finish my book chapter?

You’ll have support every step of the way through guided writing sessions, editorial feedback, and writer support calls. This is a collaborative process, not a solo push. We’ve built in structure to help you follow through without overwhelm.

Will this book actually help me get visibility?

Yes. You’ll be part of a full PR and launch campaign through Brave Healer Publishing, with exposure to thousands of readers, podcast hosts, potential clients, and collaborators. And because you’re writing alongside other women who will also be sharing it, it’s a visibility amplifier.

Can I sell or use the book in my business afterward?

Absolutely. You’ll get a media kit, graphics, and as many copies as you want at cost to use in your business however you like. This book becomes a long-term asset for your brand and thought leadership.

When does the book launch?
